On Sept. 24, 1957, a B-26 bomber crashed into a house on Tuttle Avenue in East Dayton, killing the two pilots and two people inside the dwelling.
WRIGHT FIELD - 1945

On March 6, 1945, a C-60 transport crashed into the No.4 hangar at Wright Field and exploded, setting fire to both the hangar and several aircraft inside.
